Pile It On Challenge # For a Man

Hi Everyone! It's time for another Pile it On challenge!! This week we are making manly cards (to or from a man) and our sponsor is Dude Time Doodles. This week's lucky winner will win a $10 Gift certificate to their store! I know many of you struggle with masculine cards and projects, and I am no exception! However, I enjoy doing them because I like the challenge and I like to make cards for my hubby. I have mentioned in previous posts how he loves all things "country" so the Dude Time Doodle's Rodeo Randy series was perfect! Here is my card:

 I definitely went to the stash for this one, using a paper pad from ColorBok that I've had forever. I really liked the paisley design for a western style card. I inked all the kraft cuts with Vintage Photo. I like this look on Western style projects- I think it looks leather-y. The design is from this week's sketch at Critter Sketch Challenge. It worked out perfectly with the  barbed wire image!

I cut the tickets with my new Page Maps Spellbinders die (I am seriously in love with these, so many fun project possibilities!!) then I wrapped the twine around the tickets. I really like how it all came together, and I hope you do too! Please come join us with your manly creations this week!!
