Today is my sister's birthday- Happy Birthday Holli! She lives about an hour away and is a little under the weather so I won't be seeing her today. I wanted her to know that even though I am not around, I am still thinking of her and so I made her this birthday card.
Sorry for the poor quality (shadow-y) photo. We actually got some snow here today, so it is a little overcast and I couldn't get good light to take the photo. The image is from A Day for Daisies. I recently discovered them and am seriously in love with their digi's- lots of vintage stuff that I love! I thought this one was cute for a birthday card. Here is a close-up of her, I colored her with Copics:
The patterned paper is from American Crafts. It doesn't show well in the photo, but the mat paper (which is from Doodlebug) is glitter-y, and I added some stickles on the balloon highlights. My sister loves glitter, so I had to include some on her card! I used George to cut the circles and tag, and the stamp is from Pink by Design. I tied a double bow with some crinkle ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique (using my NEW Bow Easy!!) and added a button with some Baker's Twine. TFL!
I am also entering the card in the following challenges:
A Day for Daisies - glitter
Party Time Tuesday's - birthday
