These are photos of my nephew Bailey holding his brand new baby brother. Isn't he the sweetest!! So for my base page I used a paper from My Mind's Eye. It has a very faint woodgrain texture that was not too overwhelming, and the color matched my other papers quite well. I printed 3 12 x 12 sheets from the Imagine Hopscotch cartridge: a cloud pattern, a letter pattern and a yellow pattern, and then cut my layers from there. This is where the fun part begins! One of the cool things about the Imagine is that you can cut images from your regular Cricut cartridges, and then fill them with colors and patterns from your Imagine cartridges. I inserted the New Arrival cartridge, and selected 3 of the Onesie image, and then filled it with 3 different patterns from Hopscotch. All the patterns coordinate together, so you really can't go wrong! I then selected the 1:2 box from the Imagine machine menu five times at 2", and filled each box with a solid color from the cartridge's palette. I used the strips to cut banner pennants with a Spellbinder's die. I then assembled this banner:
Everything coordinates perfectly! I added some baker's twine and cute mini clothespins for added interest.
Next I selected the 'New Arrival' phrase and filled it with another color from the palette. I only used the 'New' portion of the phrase, and then added letter stickers to form my whole title: New Brother. The duck is another image that is available on the Imagine machine menu. I filled it with the same yellow from the cartridge palette.
