I used Sketch # 132 from Let's Capture These Sketches as my inspiration. This is a photo of hubby and I ;). I started with white cardstock and used some turquoise Smooch Spray to mist around a doily. I added my photo and some scalloped flowers that I cut from Mother's Day Bouquet. I layered on some tickets and bottle caps that I fussy cut from a patterned paper by Echo Park.
I learned this twine technique from a class I did on NSD. You basically take a glue dot and coil your twine around it. So fun! I can think of so many uses for this embellishment, but here I just used it as an accent.Another new technique learned from NSD: making flags with paper clips. Again, many fun and different things you can do with this. One thing I like about it is the paper clips are sometimes easier to 'adhere' to your page as they can just clip onto something.
