Make Yourself at Home

Fun challenge over at the Paper Variety this week: a theme of Home. I love how it leaves it open for so many possibilities and/or directions. I toyed with several different photos/themes and settled on this one of Cash and June being so much alike. Two peas in a pod, these two. The paper and stickers are from the Bo Bunny Et Cetera collection. Cardstock from DCWV, flowers from Prima and brads from Fancy Pants. Title is Alphalicious, TFL!

Fall Guys

Well, it's been a busy week! As I stated earlier, I don't usually like to combine challenges, but when I have the amount of work on my plate that I do right now and three challenge blogs that are so similar, well... :) Of course Fall is REALLY in the air right now so that seems to be a popular theme! Which is fine by me, because you know I love the fall! I'm going to run out of 'fall' themed pics pretty soon! Guess I need to go do some fun fall activities and take some more pics!! Here is the breakdown... Theme for the week over at My Craft Spot is fall leaves.  Seems like I've done a lot of LOs in the past few weeks with fall leaves! Good thing I have this darling Bo Bunny Forever Fall kit to make more!  Whimisical Wednesday's theme is Fall Colors, and Cooking with Cricut's theme is Colors of Autumn. Straight from the nest has some great fall leaf cuts, so it was fun to use it on this project. Also used Opposites Attract for the title. TFL!!

Thankful

The new challenge for the Paper Variety this week is to use stickers! I just got these fun dimensional stickers from Basic Grey so what a perfect chance to use them!! This photo was actually taken a couple years ago on Thanksgiving (hence, the title) but it was of me with my cute neice so I decided to go a more girly route. All the paper is from Basic Grey's Hello Luscious Collection (cardstock by Colorbok), the border, frame and title cut from Storybook and the stamp is from stampology!

MORE Fall fun!!

In case you couldn't tell I LOVE the fall. I couldn't wait to get started on all my fall projects. I just LOVE this new set from Wood Connection and I needed some more Thanksgiving decorations.  The paper is from We R Memory Keepers and was also bought at Wood Connection. This one was a lot of fun! TFL!

Fall Fun!

The challenge theme for this week over at My Craft Spot is Harvest. Yay!! I'm so excited to start doing fall pages, my favorite time of year! So I am sure this will be the first of many. :) I just love these photos my husband took of our niece and nephew having fun on a slide at the Scarecrow Festival. Their joy is so apparent. The title is from Cuttin' Up, scarecrow from Simply Scarecrows and leaves from Straight from the Nest. Leaves are inked with Tim Holtz distress ink and popped up on glue dots. Paper is from We R Memory Keepers.

U Make my heart sing

So I don't usually combine challenges (unless one is a 'sketch' challenge) but these two challenges went together so perfectly on my project I decided to go ahead and do it! The challenge over at Frosted Designs this week is tickets, stamps and envelopes, and the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is to use a musical instrument or music note. I had this vintage musical paper from K & Company and a cute title I wanted to do having to do with music.  In the same K & Company collection there was this stamp paper as well.  I cut out the stamps and added some tickets and voila! Double challenge completed! LOL! All cuts are from the Hannah Montana cartridge (LOVE this one!), tickets are from Tim Holtz and brads by Making Memories. TFL!!

XOXOXO

So, Saturday's challenge over at the Paper Variety is to use your favorite color in a  monochromatic project. This was pretty fun, because I don't think I've done a monochromatic project before, but had wanted to do one. I love pink, and I thought it would be fun to scrap this cute photo of my neice Evie in pink.  I'm not sure if the picture does justice to all the colors.  I tried to edit the photo, but the background paper which was a pretty shade of pale pink didn't quite come through.  I might try taking another photo and switch it out later ;)

All the paper is from SEI. I used Makin' the Grade for the title (another favorite) and Hannah Montana for the butterflies. Then added a little stickles to give them a little extra. Flower stickers are Jolee's Boutique.  TFL!!
