Cooking with Cricut Challenge # 72: Valentine's theme, with black and a brad

Welcome to another challenge over at Cooking with Cricut! This week our challenge is to do a project with a Valentine's theme using the color black and a brad. I don't know about you but I am loving all the lovey projects I get to do this month, not to mention that my favorite colors are red and pink (I know, I'm such a GIRL, lol!). I have done a fair share of Valentine's Cards so I decided to do a Valentine's/love themed layout for this challenge.
I only used one brad in my layout, but it was meant to have an impact. My brad doubles as a period, so my title is 'Love.' I used several cartridges on this layout. The title is cut from Sophisticated. This cartridge has some great stuff and is quickly becoming a favorite. I absolutely love the "laundry line" from Sweethearts. So cute for banners, right? And the banner flags are cut from Straight from the Nest. The border punch is from American Crafts and the paper is from Bo Bunny. Their Valentine's line from last year must have been popular- I've seen a lot of it!
Well, I hope you have enjoyed my project today, and I hope you will come and join us and link up your own Valentine's project!

I am also entering my project in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge: Include a Heart

  2. Oh Heather, I know I already told you that I love this, but I had to tell you again! :) The way that B&W photo stands out against the red & black background is genius. And your doggies are adorable. :)
