Cooking with Cricut challenge #57: Scarecrows, Hay, Crows and Sketches

It's time for another Cooking with Cricut challenge! This was a fun one! As you all know I LOVE Fall and I just acquired the Simply Scarecrow cart (this one is a must-have! So many cute cuts...) and I'm happy anytime I get to use it! This week we were provided another cute sketch to utilize. I switched this one up just a bit- I had a 4x6 vertical photo I wanted to use so I flipped the mat up and down. And I added a big pumpkin (also cut with the Simply Scarecrow cart) for the background. All the paper on the project is from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall line. I think I have made 3 projects from this line so far- such great Fall colors and images. After cutting the images out, I inked the corn stalk with some Tim Holtz distress ink, placed buttons for eyes on my scarecrow guy and added some raffia to give that feel of real hay. I've attached a closeup of my scarecrow so you can see. I cut the title using Alphalicious. One last thing- I was having a real hard time coming up with a title for this page. I wanted something cute that matched the picture of my hubby and our boxer, Cash. Well, I hopped on over to Scrapbook Eden and found the perfect title! There are a lot of great resources and tutorials on this site- you should definitely check it out!
Here is the sketch we were provided to use for this week's project:

Here is my finished project:

Here is a closeup of the scarecrow:

Thanks for visiting! Can't wait to see the fun Fall goodies you all will cook up!
