So, Saturday's challenge over at the Paper Variety is to use your favorite color in a  monochromatic project. This was pretty fun, because I don't think I've done a monochromatic project before, but had wanted to do one. I love pink, and I thought it would be fun to scrap this cute photo of my neice Evie in pink.  I'm not sure if the picture does justice to all the colors.  I tried to edit the photo, but the background paper which was a pretty shade of pale pink didn't quite come through.  I might try taking another photo and switch it out later ;)

All the paper is from SEI. I used Makin' the Grade for the title (another favorite) and Hannah Montana for the butterflies. Then added a little stickles to give them a little extra. Flower stickers are Jolee's Boutique.  TFL!!

Our Boy

I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking work- so many projects going on right now!! So I am just now getting to Friday's challenge over at the Paper Variety. As I mentioned in the previous post, they are having a 5 day series of challenge with a 'Favorite things' theme.  Friday's challenge was to use your favorite photo. Well, picking one favorite photo would of course be impossible so I had to choose one of my favorites (which I hadn't already scrapped, LOL). I love this photo of Cash- one of my favorites of him. I had already scrapped a similar photo of his sister June, but was just waiting for the time to do his. So I used this photo of Cash for this project! TFL!!

Season of Colors

This week the Paper Variety is hosting FIVE challenges in honor of their 1 year anniversary.  The theme for the week is "my favorite things". Thursdays challenge: My favorite Paper Company. YAY! I LOVE an opportunity to use my favorite Bo Bunny products!I just adore their new fall line- Forever Fall. Such great colors. And this adorable picture of my neices could not have fit better, right?? I used a page map sketch for the layout, and of course threw some cricut cuts in there. I just got the Simply Scarecrow cart (SO stinkin' cute!!). Here's my LO! TFL!!

There was a fun sketch over at Sassy Lil Sketches this week. I thought I would give it a little test-drive with these photos of me and my hubby. I love this paper collection from Bo Bunny and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use it. Here is my LO:

My BFF

Hi Y'all-Happy Labor Day!! I just LOVE 3 day weekends! And, I only have a 3 day week this week because guess what?? Scrapbook Expo on Friday! I'm SOO excited! Anyhoo, just wanted to take a minute to post this LO I did for my BFF Tina. Really wanted to do something that highlighted this BEAUTIFUL picture I have of her. She's a country girl, so of course I had to go with a Country theme! I found this BEAUTIFUL paper, and knew I had to use it in my LO! The challenge theme over at My Craft Spot this week, is 'make something for a friend', so I knew this would be perfect! TFL!

Better Together

I just got this adorable Bo Bunny paper packet and when I saw the challenge over at Frosted Designs this week (Flourishes!) I knew it would be perfect!! I love flourishes, and the ones in this packet were SOO cute! I also used a sketch from Stuck on you Sketches (SOUS) because I thought it fit very well with the page look I was going for. I had a lot of fun and thought it came out pretty cute! What do you think? :)

Mini Golf fun!

This week's challenge at Cooking with Cricut is to do a project centering around something you and your family do for fun. Well, one of my favorite activites to do with Hubby is miniature golfing! And I just 'happened' to have some photos from our last mini golf outing which was my birthday- so much fun! (AND I WON!!!).

Paper is American Crafts, Cardstock: DCWV. Cartridges used: Stamped (Title), Accent Essentials (Arrow and scalloped circle) and Everyday Paper Dolls (that darling golf flag! How cute is that??).
